The HDMI power inserter adapter is designed for HDMI cables to supply enough power for a stable operation of the connected device. Especially when the HDMI port cannot provide the full 5V power supply for the connected cable, it may not function properly. The adapter is therefore ideal for solving the problem of hot-plug, EDID and HDCP errors that occur when the HDMI ports do not supply the needed voltage.
