Portable patch cord tester. It tests all pairs and detects faults such as open, shorted, crossed or reversed pairs. The included remote unit can be used to test a cable after installation. The PoE tester indicates if and which pairs (1-2/3-6 or 4-5/7-8) have PoE power. The built-in LED light and magnet for attaching the unit are also practical.
